Heavenly
Father, We come before You with hearts full of love and concern for our children. You know them intimately, for You formed them in their mothers' wombs and have numbered every hair on their heads. Lord, we are desperate for their salvation, knowing that apart from You, there is no true life, no lasting joy, and no eternal hope. We pray, Father, that You would draw our children to Yourself with cords of lovingkindness. Open their eyes to see the beauty of who You are—the God of grace, mercy, and truth. Soften their hearts to recognize their need for a Savior, and lead them to the foot of the cross, where they can find forgiveness, redemption, and new life in Christ. Lord, we ask that You would surround them with Your presence, even in moments when they may feel distant from You. Place godly influences in their lives—friends, mentors, and teachers who will point them to You. Let Your Word take root in their hearts, and may they hunger and thirst for righteousness. We pray against the lies of the enemy that seek to deceive and distract them. Break every chain of doubt, rebellion, or apathy that may hold them back from surrendering their lives to You. Fill them with a deep longing to know You, to love You, and to live for You. Father, we surrender our children into Your hands, trusting that You love them even more than we do. We believe that You are faithful and that Your promises are true. We claim Your Word over their lives: "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it" (Proverbs 22:6). We stand on Your assurance that "if we ask anything according to Your will, You hear us" (1 John 5:14). Thank You, Lord, for the work You are doing in their lives, even when we cannot see it. Strengthen our faith as we wait on You, and help us to model a life of devotion and trust in You. May our children see Your love reflected in us and be drawn to the light of Your truth. We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus, our Savior and Redeemer. Amen. |
